I am the founder and trainer of Abinaya Bharatham Dance Academy, where I have been providing Bharatanatyam training for the past 10 years. My journey in Bharatanatyam began at the age of 5, and over the years, dance has become not only my profession but also a lifelong passion and dedication. Through my academy, I aim to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of Bharatanatyam while guiding students with disciplined and professional training.

I hold an M.A. in Bharatanatyam along with the prestigious Nattuvanga Kalaimani qualification from Annamalai University. My academic qualifications and years of practical training have provided me with deep knowledge of classical dance, rhythm, expressions, choreography, and stage performance. I continuously strive to pass this knowledge and passion on to my students through structured and meaningful learning experiences.

At Abinaya Bharatham Dance Academy, we focus on providing quality Bharatanatyam training to students of all age groups and skill levels. Along with dance techniques, we emphasize discipline, confidence, cultural values, stage presence, and artistic excellence. I believe Bharatanatyam is not just a dance form but a powerful medium for self-expression, dedication, and personal growth.

As the sole trainer at the institute, I provide personalized attention and guidance to every student according to their learning pace and abilities. My teaching approach focuses on building strong fundamentals through regular practice, proper body posture, rhythm understanding, expressions (abhinaya), and performance preparation. I ensure students receive step-by-step guidance so they can grow confidently in their classical dance journey.

Our institution also prepares students for grade examinations conducted by Annamalai University. In addition, we train students for stage performances, competitions, and cultural events, helping them gain confidence and exposure as performers. Many of our students have actively participated in the Abdul Kalam Book of Records, showcasing their dedication and talent in Bharatanatyam.

We follow a structured teaching methodology that combines both theoretical and practical training. Classes include step-by-step lesson plans, rhythm practice, abhinaya training, regular revision sessions, and interactive learning methods to ensure complete artistic development. My aim is to help students not only master dance techniques but also understand the cultural depth and beauty of Bharatanatyam.

We offer both online and offline classes, making Bharatanatyam learning accessible and convenient for students from different locations. Teaching classical dance has been a deeply fulfilling journey for me, and I remain committed to nurturing students with patience, discipline, and passion.
