Teaching Grade 10 students has been a truly enriching and dynamic experience. At this stage, students are not only preparing for important board examinations but are also developing critical thinking and independent learning skills. While teaching, I observed that every student has a unique pace and style of understanding, which required me to adapt my methods accordingly. I used a mix of explanations, real-life examples, and interactive discussions to make concepts clearer and more engaging. One of the most rewarding aspects was seeing students gradually gain confidence in subjects they initially found difficult. Doubts sessions, regular assessments, and revision strategies played a key role in helping them improve. However, maintaining their attention and motivation, especially during complex topics, was sometimes challenging. To overcome this, I incorporated short activities, quizzes, and relatable examples to keep them involved. Building a supportive and encouraging environment was essential. I made sure students felt comfortable asking questions without hesitation. Over time, this helped create a positive classroom atmosphere where learning became more collaborative. Overall, teaching Grade 10 strengthened my communication, patience, and problem-solving skills. It was a fulfilling experience to contribute to students’ academic growth and witness their progress and achievements.
