Role Plays and Dialogues: Conducted role-playing activities (like at the shop, at the doctor, introducing oneself, etc.) to simulate real-life conversations and improve spontaneous speech. Pronunciation Training: Helped students improve pronunciation using phonetic drills, word stress, and sentence intonation exercises. Interactive Games: Used spoken word games such as “Talk for a Minute,” “Describe the Picture,” and “Word Chains” to make learning fun and engaging. Confidence Building: Gave each student a chance to speak during class, encouraged participation, and created a supportive environment where mistakes were seen as part of learning. Listening and Responding: Used audio clips and short English videos to enhance listening comprehension and taught students how to respond appropriately in different scenarios. Through this experience, I observed significant improvement in students' comfort and accuracy in speaking English. I believe spoken English is best taught through interaction, confidence-building, and consistent practice, and I tailor my methods to suit the learner’s level.
