I have done Integrated MS in Earth Sciences with specialization in physics from Indian Institute of Science Education & Research(IISER) Kolkata. Since my post graduation in 2012, I have been training students aspiring for IIT JEE on a part time basis. The objective of me teaching physics to needful students is providing quality education at per with the best institutes in the industry to students who could not afford escalating fees of reputed coaching institutes. My message to the students and parents who read this profile: the name of an institute howsoever big or great it may be, cannot get you anywhere unless you yourself are determined for that one thing you aspire, for soon or late the man who wins is the man who thinks he can.

Attempt all the questions whether you know the answer or not.

Answer sheet should be neat and clean. Do not forget to cut the rough work done. Avoid overwriting.

Always note the terms and digits from the question paper carefully.

Question paper must be solved in serial order from 1 to 30. If you don`t know the solution for a particular question, leave the space for that.

Never lose your patience during the exam. If you do not know the answer to any question, do not lose your patience. Move ahead and after completing rest of the questions, take a long breathe and think about the concepts involved in that particular question. This will definitely help you to recall some steps of that question.

•Read the question paper with full concentration.

•First, attempt those questions which you are sure about.

•Mention the formula and put the values while solving your question as there is a criterion of step marking.

•Use pencil and scale to draw the figures. Never draw a figure with the use of a pen.

•If your writing is poor, then you can write leaving some space in between two words.

**Dot or Scalar Product of Vectors**

Dot Product of two vectors ** A **and **B **is defines as product of magnitude of the vectors and cosine of the angle between them.

**A•B = |A||B|CosT, **Where T is the angle between the vectors **A** and **B.**

It is a scalar quantity

**Special Cases**

(I) If two vectors are perpendicular to each other their dot product is Zero.

(ii) If two vectors **A **and B are parallel their dot product is |A||B|.

If **i, j, k **are unit vectorsalong X, Y, Z axis respectively then

**i.i = 1**

**j.j = 1**

**k.k = 1**

**i.j = 0**

**j.k = 0**

**K.i = 0. **

* Note : Scalar product is commutative *

*i.e. ***A.B = B.A**
