TCP/IP protocol suit--CCNA--CCNP--CCIE--Solutions Architect. Though many would not agree but its good to learn a scripting language like python, it makes a life of net engg a lot easier. With scripting u can automate a lot of task like pre and post check after a device image upgrade.

How much salary can one expect after having a B.Tech (CSE) and a CCNA R and S Certificate in Kolkata as a fresher?
As an engineer grads , CTC offering for freshers can be between 1.6 to 3.6 lakh per annum. In MNC you can expect upto 4 lakh as well for certified candidate. Knowledge would be tested here rather certification tag.
