Depends on your interest. It can take as long as 15months and as less as 5months

Varies a lot from student to student,basics include varisais,geethams,varnams, minimum 3 years will be required for a student with good pitch

Hello Gopi Ji....If you start learning Vocal or Instrumental Carnatic Music from Basics....by regular learning and constant practice, you can complete the learning of Basics in 6 months for sure....But continued learning and regular practice IS A MUST.
