Both (Carnatic and Hindustani) have some variations in terms of voice culture, style, etc. Trying to learn both simultaneously could seriously interfere with each other, which would impede your progress. It is better to learn and master either one and then move on another music.

Nothing is impossible for a man who think how can he make impossible to I M POSSIBLE. Both r max same notes but if u r perfect with the basic of both Hindustani and carnatic u can do both at a time it depends on your practice... But difference is in carnatic a lot of gamakas r use than hindustani.

Learn any one music and understand thoroughly, then move on to the next, which will be easier to improve as they both have a difference in their style of singing and performing. Best Wishes!
