Development field as it will always enhance your career. If you opt for development field you will have multiple option like starting practise independently as providing professional services or can go for job.

Cloud Computing for sure. The entire software industry is shifting to cloud. Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, IBM, Amazon are all moving their software to cloud. Even S.Is like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Cognizant are hiring people with cloud skills.

SW development depends on what language are you working on if you choose some obsolete language or out dated language then you will not be able to go too far. Cloud computing has a lot of scope you can go for it.
