hi joydip, if you finished SFM and costing coaching in old syllabus I prefer you to opt for old syllabus as there are lot of changes in Group I of new syllabus comparing to old syllabus and coming to group II of CA final paper 5 AMA has changed upto 15% in new syllabus and apart from paper 6 everything is common in group 2 of both syllabus. If you are writing both groups at a time and you have finished coaching in old syllabus I prefer you to write in old syllabus. If you are writing group wise i.e. Group 1 and you have no bother with ISCA i prefer you to write in old syllabus but if u dont want to write ISCA better finish group 1 in old syllabus and convert to new syllabus and finish group 2. Best of luck Buddy. read less
