If u will get less than 50% marks in one grup and more than 50% marks in another grup..making total 400...than u will be declared pass....

If you have prepared thoroughly for all the subjects, then only attempt for both groups. It definitely saves time as after clearing of IPCC only you can appear for final exams and one year gap is manadatory between passing of IPCC and examination of Final.
