Why is the C language better than C++?

C does not have run-time type checking, while C++ does. C does not have built-in support for exception handling, while C++ does. C has a simpler syntax than C++ and is generally easier to learn. C is faster and more efficient than C++, but C++ is more powerful and versatile.
