What is the storage mechanism in C?

C++ Programmer

C and C++ will use 4 types of storage areas, 1. Data Segment 2. Code Segment 3. Stack and 4. Heap. Based on the storage class variable will store in above storage areas. Ex local variable will use the stack and all pointer will use heap.
