We have long int datatype in c programming so use it

declare your variable as long int/long long int. if you want to add only positive numbers then declare variables as long unsigned int

Use long instead of int. long has 4 bytes. int has 4 bytes in C++ and in some compiler of C also. But in some compiler, it's 2 bytes.
