Programming is learnt by practice. I would suggest you to refer the book by Dennis Ritchie on C programming to start with.

Go through Let us C, followed by Balagurusamy, followed by K&R book and do the hands on. Discuss with your friends. Best would be to get a training by a skilled trainer.
