string in C++ is an object that represents a sequence of characters. On the other hand, a string in C is represented by an array of characters. C++ supports C-style strings as well.

Is C++ is next version of C?
This feature looks pretty sweet. This would be great because you wouldn't need getters any more. You could make member variables public; later, if you change your mind, you can turn them into property.
