At certain times when we want set of instructions to be executed depend on one or more conditions. we can use conditional statement, like syntax: if (condition){ statements; } eg2: if-else and if-else ladder if (condition){ statements; } else { statements } based on the condition if the condition is true the set of instructions execute when the condition is false the else part gets executed. like so we have switch(expression) { case 1: statements; } if expression is matching the case, is executed directly and so it is bit faster when we have many conditions. read less
