You have to do it manually, of course. Use for loop to traverse to each character of string and then check for ASCII code of each character. If ASCII code is in between 65 to 90 inclusively, then it is upper case. For all lowercase letter Assign corresponding ASCII code(97-122) to that place in string....

If ASCII code is in between 65 to 90 inclusively, then it is upper case. For all lowercase letter Assign corresponding ASCII code(97-122) to that place in string. And Vice-versa for Lower to Uppercase. Try first to code self , If you still find hard to execute then check the code below -- // For Uppercase to all Lowercase letter std::string str="%^#AdKLdsSD*("; for( int i=0; i= 65 && s[i] <= 90 ) { s[i] = (s[i]-65)+97 //find diff between Uppercase Character and 'A' and then add ASCII value of 'a' } } Similarly for lowercase with different ASCII if condition and if block statement. For better coding style :: You can wrap these thing into a function. read less
