How good is to become Business Analyst having said that I have experience in? Accounts payable and receivable for 4 years and audit for 1 year?

The techniques used in analytics might be a little new to you but at the end of the day it's more about number crunching with statistical techniques. Switching career can be a little tricky but you can learn it and go for credit analyst / financial analyst/ credit risk management kind of roles.

Its great to be a business analyst if you takes a good initiatives. Try learning the core skills of BA as requirement gathering, modelling using UML's and documenting BRD, FRD and FRS first then add any one domain which has good opportunities in the current industry as U.S. healthcare insurance.
