With over two decades of experience in education and more than ten years of experience teaching international curricula, including the IB Diploma Programme and Cambridge AS/A Level Chemistry, I have developed a deep commitment to academic excellence, inquiry-based learning, and student success. My experience extends beyond classroom instruction to include supervision of Internal Assessments (IA), Extended Essays (EE), curriculum planning, examination coordination, and the promotion of academic integrity.
As an educator, I strongly believe that the role of a teacher extends beyond delivering subject content. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the IB framework and the development of Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills, with a particular emphasis on nurturing students' metacognitive abilities. I encourage learners to become reflective, self-directed, and lifelong learners capable of critical thinking, effective communication, and independent inquiry.
Throughout my career, I have guided students through research projects, academic writing, citation and referencing practices, and inquiry-driven learning experiences. I have also conducted workshops for students and faculty on academic integrity, plagiarism awareness, and research skills, while actively contributing to Science Festivals, Olympiads, and STEM initiatives.
