Details: Zeroth law states that a body A is in thermal equilibrium with two different bodies B and C then B and C will be in thermal equilibrium with each other. This is very basic concept with is neither obvious nor derivable from the laws discovered prior to this observation. First and second law of thermodynamics have already being stated and proved.Then came the Zeroeth law.But it gives more fundamental details than the former two ones. Hence it is given number before 1 and 2.
