B tech is always better if you are interested in Engineering aspects.

If you are completed BSC or B.Com Computer then plan to study MCA it is equal to the B.Tech

At the time of placement the thing that matters is your knowledge. If you have completed your graduation then you can do MCA otherwise B tech will be better as it takes only four years.

I think btech is good bc in btech you will get more exposure secondly it makes u multi talanted and help you to tackle problem easily
