Concept of Volumetric efficiency. Two things worth noticing:
1. specific volume at INLET
2. speed in RPS
Breathing capacity?
We tried to expand our lungs, but how much air entered in them will be the breathing capacity. Similar for reciprocating compressors. We are studying this because compressors used in ref are generally reciprocating onces.

We are going to study reciprocating compressors separately after few events. Till then, there is one concept that you have to keep in mind as is.
A reciprocating compressor increases pressure of fluid that it takes at inlet, right? Keep in mind this: Higher the pressure ratio of outlet to inlet, lesser will be its volumetric efficiency.
