I have around 20 years of teaching experience at the school level, including serving as Head of Department, Commerce at DPS Bilaspur. My Class XII CBSE Business Studies programme has a clear academic objective: to help students convert their understanding of Business Studies into high marks in the Board Examination. In my experience, knowing the subject alone is not enough to secure excellent marks. Students also need systematic practice in understanding the demand of a question, identifying the correct concept, structuring the answer, using appropriate headings and key terms, and presenting the answer effectively within the examination time. I therefore give special importance to these proven answer-presentation techniques and regular written practice. The programme focuses on conceptual clarity, chapter-wise preparation, case-study and application-based questions, answer-writing practice, revision and examination strategy in a planned and stress-free learning environment. At the same time, Business Studies should not become merely a subject to memorise for the Board Examination. Students interested in Management, Entrepreneurship, CA, CS and other professional careers are encouraged to connect the concepts they study with actual businesses and managerial decisions. The objective is therefore twofold: secure high marks in CBSE Business Studies and develop the ability to understand and think about Business and Management beyond the textbook.

I have around 20 years of teaching experience at the school level, including serving as Head of Department, Commerce at DPS Bilaspur. My Class XI Business Studies programme has two clear objectives. 1. Shifting the Student's Attitude: The first objective is to help students make the transition from being simply school children to becoming students of Business and Management. They are encouraged to observe businesses, ask questions and connect classroom concepts with the real business world. One of the most satisfying outcomes I have observed is that students from business families often begin taking greater interest in their family businesses and participating in business-related discussions with their parents and family members. 2. Building the Foundation for High Marks in Class XII: Scoring high marks in CBSE Business Studies requires not only conceptual knowledge but also systematic practice and effective presentation of answers. I therefore introduce and practise these proven examination-oriented presentation techniques from Class XI itself, rather than waiting until the Class XII board examination. My experience has shown that the Class XI Business Studies syllabus can be covered systematically in approximately 90 days through a planned and stress-free learning process, leaving sufficient opportunity for revision, application and practice. The major challenge is to shift students’ mindset from that of school children to the confident and professional attitude of upcoming managers—developing their interest in understanding business, presenting their knowledge effectively in examinations, and gradually learning to think like future managers, entrepreneurs and business leaders.
