Moving your data to the cloud is the first step to getting everything on one platform to get started for some real data and cost analysis. Here you will be able to perform joins and calculations of the different data tables from your different platforms

You should focus on the analytics part of Data Science, and not on big data. Analytics require knowledge of business along with Data Science skills.
