Python is not mandatory for learning spark. But if you have some core Java skills, that will be the add on to learn spark.

Don't thing institutional training is very good. Ask for real time practice, POC, and Preparation for the interview.

I have done my PGDITM(POST GRADUATION DIPLOMA IN Information Technology MANAGEMENT) with FINANCIAL SYSTEMS specialization in 2014. I didn't get a job until now. The reasons that I am getting rejected for is that my graduation is B.TECH and my PG is also in IT. This was the reason given by the companies after asking for a feedback.
