Auroshree Coaching for English

I teach History, Geography, and English for Classes 6 to 12 and I bring with me 31 years of experience in the field of education. Teaching has always been my passion, and over the years, I have worked towards creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for my students. My focus has always been on building conceptual clarity while also helping students develop confidence in expressing themselves.

I hold an M.A. and a B.Ed., along with an LLB degree, which adds depth to my understanding of both language and social sciences. My B.Ed. qualification has given me formal training in teaching methodology, which I apply in my classroom practice. These academic credentials, combined with decades of practical experience, enable me to design effective lessons tailored to the needs of my students.

My professional journey spans prestigious roles in some of the most respected institutions. I began my teaching career at MGM High School under the ICSE board (1984–1997). After that, I transitioned to Deepika English Medium School (CBSE), where I served not only as a teacher but also as a Vice Principal until my retirement. These leadership roles allowed me to contribute to academic planning, student mentoring, and curriculum development.

In addition to classroom teaching, I have had the privilege of serving as an examiner for English for Class X under the ICSE board. Later, during my tenure in a CBSE school, I was appointed as the Head Examiner for English from 1998 to 2000. These responsibilities have given me an in-depth understanding of board exam patterns, evaluation techniques, and strategies to help students score well.

Even after retiring from full-time school service, I continued to stay connected with teaching by founding my own coaching centre, Auroshree Coaching for English, in 2006. Through this platform, I have been mentoring students from Classes 6 to 12 (CBSE and ICSE), focusing on language skills, literature appreciation, and exam preparation. My long experience helps me identify individual learning needs and provide personalized support for better results.

In my classes, I follow a well-structured lesson plan and an interactive approach that keeps students actively involved in learning. I integrate PowerPoint presentations, videos, and practical exercises to make lessons engaging and meaningful. Every session includes concept explanation, interactive discussions, and doubt-solving, ensuring clarity and confidence in the subject.

My teaching philosophy is simple—education is not about rote learning; it is about understanding and application. Over three decades in education have taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and adaptability. Whether it is through school teaching, leadership roles, or personalized coaching, my goal has always been the same: to help students succeed academically while developing critical thinking and communication skills that will benefit them for life.
