Som Shekhar

I am Dr. Som Shekhar Verma, a UGC-NET qualified Finance educator with over 7 years of teaching experience in schools, colleges, and higher education institutions. I hold a B.Com (Hons.) from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), an MBA (Finance), a Diploma in Banking & Finance (DBF/JAIIB) from IIBF, and have completed my Ph.D. in Finance from MANIT Bhopal (final viva pending).

I have worked as a Lecturer at DAV Public Higher Secondary School, BHEL Bhopal, and later as Assistant Professor and HOD in reputed institutions including Vidhyapeeth Group of Institutions, NRI Group of Institutions, and currently LNCT Group of Colleges, Bhopal.

My expertise includes Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies, Financial Management, FinTech, and Research Methodology. I focus on concept clarity, practical learning, regular assessments, and exam-oriented preparation to help students achieve academic excellence.

In addition, I have delivered more than 20 Investor Awareness Program sessions as a Resource Person under SEBI's Investor Awareness Initiative, helping students and the public understand financial planning, digital finance, stock markets, and investment literacy. I have also presented research papers at IIM Indore, IIM Sambalpur, and international conferences, and published research in reputed Scopus, ESCI, and ABDC-indexed journals.

My goal is to make learning simple, engaging, and career-oriented while building a strong conceptual foundation for every student.
