In my experience, getting students is very easy but getting committed students is very very difficult

I don't think there is such a thing as a bad student. There are certain UNWILLING students who at a given time may not be too keen on learning. I think it's extremely unfair to rate a students as good or bad!

Actually there are no bad students. It is whether they are managed well or badly by teachers. It is for the trainer/teacher to recognize the behavior of the student and apply the correct methods to reign in the attention and learning of the student.

I believe - Analysing a good or bad student - is a JOURNEY for the Teacher or Trainer. Before Judging & rating a student as Good or Bad, I believe , a good trainer - OBSERVES deeply - inside & outside of the students personality, charateristics, background, their current circumstances, their behavioral tendencies at class. While BAD could be rated based on low percentages in subjects or extra curricular activities, or careless behavior. While GOOD could be rated based on high percentages in subjects or extra curricular activities, or good behavior. Its always better to go deeper to know the student better and the reasons of their current behavior in studies or relationships. Then work towards encouraging the students who requires assistance & appreciating and motivating the student who already showed excellence, but at the same time, keep an eye as to other areas where the good student might turn out to be bad in any other areas.
