I have around 2 years of experience teaching Biology to students of Classes 9 to 12, covering both CBSE and state board syllabi. During this period, I have taught core Biology concepts including Cell Biology, Biomolecules, Human Physiology, Plant Physiology, Genetics, Evolution, Ecology, and Biotechnology, with special focus on Class 11 and 12 Biology. My teaching approach is concept-oriented and student-friendly. I focus on building strong fundamentals by explaining topics in a simple, logical, and relatable manner, especially for students who find Biology difficult or fear lengthy theory. I regularly use diagrams, flowcharts, real-life examples, and NCERT-based explanations, as NCERT is crucial for board exams and competitive exams like NEET. I give equal importance to theory clarity, diagram practice, numerical/problem-based questions, and answer-writing skills. For Classes 9 and 10, I help students strengthen basics and score well in school exams, while for Classes 11 and 12, I emphasize deep conceptual understanding, NCERT line-by-line coverage, and exam-oriented preparation. I also conduct regular tests, doubt-solving sessions, and revision classes, and provide personalized attention based on each student’s learning level. Many of my students have shown improvement in confidence, conceptual understanding, and exam performance. I believe Biology becomes easy and interesting when taught with clarity and patience, and I strive to create a supportive and motivating learning environment for my students.
