As an engineer currently pursuing a Ph.D., I believe that true understanding of science and engineering comes from mastering the fundamentals. Complex ideas are rarely isolated; they are built step by step from simple principles. My approach to teaching focuses on helping students see how these small conceptual “building blocks” come together to form deeper and more advanced knowledge.

Rather than emphasizing memorization of formulas, I guide students to understand the logic behind the concepts. We begin with basic intuition, develop the core scientific idea, and then move toward the mathematical formulation. This structured approach allows students to understand not only what a concept is, but also why it works and how it connects to other topics.

For example, in subjects such as thermodynamics, electrochemistry, or reaction engineering, I help students trace the path from simple physical observations to the fundamental laws and models used in advanced engineering. By building knowledge gradually—one concept at a time—students gain clarity, confidence, and the ability to tackle complex problems independently.

My goal as a tutor is to cultivate strong conceptual foundations, critical thinking, and scientific intuition. When students understand how ideas evolve from basic principles, learning becomes more meaningful, and advanced topics become far less intimidating.
