Teaching has always been my passion and interest. It is something that I have done either formally or informally for many years of my life. After finishing my MBA in finance, I started off my career formally in the year 2015 with a teaching position at a primary school in Bangalore. I was responsible for teaching many subjects for the students of class between V and VII. After an year or so, I had to then take a break from the school since I was expecting my daughter. As an alternative, I leveraged my teaching skills and passion to begin home tuition for the kids in and around my area of residence. Since then till date, I have been teaching around 20 plus kids from multiple schools, subjects and range of class from I to VII. Lately, because of the Covid-19 situation, I am leveraging the online platform (Google meet, classroom, Zoom etc.) to continue classes for some of my students. It is that immense gratification and sense of happiness that I derive from this noble profession of teaching is what keeps me motivated.
