Have taught Carnatic classical music ,both vocal and Veena to a handful of students in Oman during a stint of 6 years in Muscat as well as in Chennai and Bangalore .
Play and teach in the Tanjore style which is noted for the Bhava as well as being closest to vocal rendering. I have learnt for over 10 years from a very reputed teacher in Chennai.

Have won prizes in Music competitions at various stages and now looking forward to propagate the art of Veena playing in the younger generation. Can be a very dedicated and interesting teacher to the really passionate-to-learn student. Would love to start with various playing techniques and exercises for the beginners. can handle teaching for higher levels also. I have had students aged between 5 and 70 in the past .Have the privilege of tutelage under a leading Guru in the Muthuswamy Deekshithar lineage for 10 years and also under a leading artist from the Lalgudi school for sometime. (both Tanjore style of playing ).

I have completed Higher Grade (equivalent to Senior Grade) in Instrumental music in Veena.
