I was messing around on a friend's guitar back in 1998 when I was in school. He showed me the "D-Chord" and from there, I bought my own guitar and learnt through friends, family and the internet.
I have been playing since then and have been part of bands and worship teams in various Churches in Bangalore and Bahrain.
I like a lot of types of music, but I've always leaned towards acoustic songs. Growing up, one of the songs that I heard and really wanted to learn to play was "Wonderwall" by Oasis.
I am not an expert by any measure as I'm still learning. I'm teaching entirely from experience.
Looking to play that awesome worship song that you just heard? Heard an awesome acoustic number?
I would like to introduce the guitar to beginners through chords and hopefully get you to play along your favorite songs as well!

Is it worth spending 2000 per month for a private guitar tuitor, the teacher claims he will teach me...

Absolutely. 2000 is a very nominal rate per month. Ear training is an added plus and will greatly benefit you in your musical journey! All the best!

I would say around age 12+ as the strings need strength to press down and the small strings do hurt a lot initially before the calusses start to form.

2000INR is a regular fee per month. Ear training is a plus and is very useful for your music career!
