Sutapa Talukdar, Guru Giridhari Nayak and Smt. Rina Jana. Samhati’s parents, who were great connoisseurs of art, has always been her sole inspiration. She has presented a number of solo dance recitals in several prestigious dance festivals in India and in different parts of the world. She has also choreographed a number of dance productions of her own. Apart from Odissi, she also teaches Semi-classical, Bollywood, Folk and Rabindranritya dance forms.
