I have been actively involved in CAD training and mentoring for 10 years . My teaching experience is specifically focused on tools like Siemens NX, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD. Over the years, I have conducted structured training programs for engineering students, entry-level designers, and working professionals. In NX CAD, I have trained participants on: Fundamentals: User interface, sketching, parametric modeling Part Modeling: Features such as extrude, revolve, holes, fillets, chamfers, and shell Assemblies: Bottom-up and top-down approaches, constraints, exploded views Drafting & Documentation: Creating 2D drawings, annotations, GD&T basics Surface & Advanced Modeling: Freeform, curves, and sheet metal basics My training approach is hands-on and project-based. I usually divide each session into three parts: a short concept presentation, a live software demonstration, and practice exercises for students. I also design assignments that mimic real-world design problems so learners can directly connect classroom knowledge with practical applications. Over the course of my teaching, I have helped students successfully complete academic projects, prepare for CAD certification exams, and transition into industry roles where CAD skills are essential. What I enjoy most is simplifying complex CAD concepts and helping learners gain confidence in using the tools effectively.
