I have hands-on experience teaching Phonics to young learners, especially pre-primary and primary school children. My teaching focuses on helping children understand the relationship between letters and sounds, which forms the foundation for reading, spelling, and clear pronunciation. I begin with basic letter sounds and gradually move to blending sounds to form words. I teach children how to identify beginning, middle, and ending sounds, and help them decode simple words with confidence. Sight words, CVC words, digraphs, and common phonetic patterns are introduced step by step, ensuring children grasp each concept before moving forward. My phonics sessions are highly interactive and child-friendly. I use visual aids, pictures, flashcards, actions, rhymes, and repetition to make learning enjoyable and effective. Through listening and speaking activities, children develop better sound recognition and correct pronunciation. I also include reading aloud, and simple spelling exercises to reinforce learning. I pay close attention to each child’s learning pace and provide individual support where needed. Regular revision and practice are part of my teaching method to strengthen sound recall and reading fluency. I encourage children to pronounce words clearly and confidently, helping them build a strong foundation in English. Overall, my goal in teaching Phonics is to make children confident readers by developing strong sound awareness, accurate pronunciation, and early reading skills in a fun and supportive learning environment.

For children, I use interactive methods such as storytelling, role-plays, repetition exercises, picture prompts, and speaking games to make learning enjoyable and effective.I adapt my teaching style based on each learner’s level and pace. My sessions are supportive and encouraging, helping learners overcome hesitation and fear of making mistakes. I strongly believe that consistent practice and a comfortable learning environment are key to mastering Spoken English. Overall, my goal is to help learners communicate confidently, improve fluency, and use English naturally in their daily lives.
