Ramya Srinivasa has been immersed in the art of dance
for the past decade, specialising in Bharatanatyam for 10
years and Contemporary for the past 5 years.
Under the guidance of noted danseuse Smt. Aruna
Bhargavi, Founder and Artistic Director - Kala
Kalpakshetra, Bengaluru, she honed her skills in
Bharatanatyam.
Simultaneously, her contemporary dance journey has
been shaped by the expertise of Karthik Tantri, Founder,
Artistic Director & Choreographer of Abstratics Creative
Dance Company - Bengaluru.
Ramya has completed her Arangetram in May 2023. She is
an integral part of both Abstratics and Kala Kalpakshetra’s
performing wing and has performed in different places of
Bengaluru on several occasions, including Maha Shivaratri
- Sri Kanteshwara temple and Omkareshwara temple,
Ragavendra Swamy Aradhana - Sri Rama Mandira,
Balamuri Sri Maha Ganapathi Temple, Abstratics -
Vijayadashami Celebrations, Hanuman Jayanthi - Harake
Hanumantha temple, Rama Naval - Sri Rama Mandira,
Sringeri Sharadambha Temple, and more.
She has been a part of Abstratics Creative Dance
Company’s Dance Productions such as Archetype, Avani,
Queue, Internal Flight and Pillow and Me.
She has also participated in other notable productions
like "Lord Of Lanka"
, a classical opera which was directed
by Meena Das Narayan & produced by Bangalore Club for Kathakali & the Arts (BCKA).
