I hold a Ph.D degree in Genetics from the University of Mysore, where I also completed my Master's degree in Genetics through the Department of Studies in Zoology. My academic journey has provided me with a strong foundation in various biological disciplines, including cell biology, molecular genetics, physiology, developmental biology and evolutionary biology-all of which are key topics across school-level curriculum. My advanced studies have helped me develop a deep conceptual understanding and an ability to explain complex topics in a simplified, student-friendly manner.
While pursuing my doctoral studies, I had the opportunity to guide and support post graduate students in their coursework and conceptual learning. This informal teaching experience sharpened my skills in communicating scientific concepts clearly and engagingly, adapting my approach based on the learner's level and background. Although I have not held a for al classroom teaching position, this experience has given me practical insights into teaching methodologists and student engagement.
My academic training equips me to offer more than just textbook knowledge-I can help students connect what they learn in the classroom to real-world biological processes and emerging scientific developments. My background in genetics also allows me to introduce students to current and relavent biological topics, helping to spark curiosity and build a strong conceptual base that will serve them in higher education and beyond.
