Hello and welcome! I am a passionate Bharatanatyam practitioner and educator dedicated to sharing the beauty, depth, and joy of this ancient classical art form. Whether you are stepping onto the dance floor for the very first time or looking to deepen your existing practice, my goal is to guide you on a holistic artistic journey.

My Artistic Journey
Dance has been my lifelong companion. For over 22 years, I have been immersed in the rigorous and soulful world of Bharatanatyam, trained under the traditional Guru-Shishya Parampara (the sacred lineage of teacher-disciple learning). This deep-rooted foundation has shaped not just my technique, but my respect for the art form's spiritual and cultural essence.

Active Practice: I am constantly evolving as an artiste and am currently undergoing intensive Pre-Vidwath level dance training to further refine my artistry.

Global Stage: Over the years, I have had the privilege of sharing my art with diverse audiences, performing on over 60 national and international platforms.

A Holistic Approach to Dance
I believe that to truly understand Bharatanatyam, one must look beyond just physical movement. My teaching methodology seamlessly bridges the gap between practice and intellect. I train my students in:

Practical Excellence (Prayoga): Developing strong adavus (basic steps), precise angasuddhi (body posture), rhythmic mastery (tala), and nuanced abhinaya (expressive storytelling).

Theoretical Foundations (Shastra): Demystifying the ancient texts, specifically the Natyashastra and Abhinaya Darpana. Students learn the deeper meanings behind mudras (hand gestures), charis (movements), and the rich mythology that breathes life into our choreography.

My classes are structured yet nurturing, ensuring a supportive environment where students of all ages can build discipline, confidence, and a lifelong love for dance.
