Identity
Parvathy Ramesh started learning Bharatnatyam at the tender age of 6 under the tutelage of Guru Smt. Kanaka Sudhakar, New Delhi. She performed her Arangetram, in presence of acclaimed Kathak Maestros Ms Kamalini and Ms Nalini, in the year Jan 2006 and received her Margam thereafter.
She completed her Alankar in Bharatanatyam in the year 2015 and Visharad in the year 2009 from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai.
She was awarded Senior Scholarship in Dance by Sahitya Kala Parishad, Dept. of Art, Culture and Languages, Govt of Delhi for advance training. She is a graded artist in Bharatanatyam by Delhi Doordarshan.
She has worked professionally in schools, as Dance Teacher at Orchids International School, BTM Layout Bangalore and The Brigade School Millenium, JP Nagar Bangalore. Gaining valuable experience teaching children of all ages. She is also registered as Dance Examiner for Diploma, Bachelors Level from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai
She is currently pursuing her Masters in Fine Arts (Bharatanatyam) from Tamil University, Thanjavur.
Parvathy continues to zealously further her knowledge in dance through teaching and performing.
