Hi, My name is Ambica Vurakaranam, I am a statistician by qualification and an artist by passion.

Diving into the world of art and drawing has been a remarkable journey for me, which spans over two decades of exploration, creativity, and the joy of self-expression. Armed with a solid academic background, holding post-graduation degree in Statistics and an advanced diploma in fine arts, I've found a unique intersection between the analytical precision of statistics and the free-flowing creativity of the art world.

My academic pursuits led me to attain a Masters degree in Statistics, a field that instilled in me a sense of precision and analytical thinking. However, my heart yearned for the world of colors, strokes, and imagination. To bridge this gap, I pursued an advanced certification course from a well reputed fine arts college Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath (KCP) - Bangalore, a decision that marked a turning point in my life and laid the foundation for a fulfilling career in the world of fine-arts.

As an individual trainer, my focus has been on nurturing the artistic talents of enthusiasts across various age groups. Drawing upon my 20+ years of experience, I have delved into all mediums of painting styles, embracing the diversity of artistic expression. From classical techniques to contemporary forms, my journey as an art instructor has been marked by a commitment to fostering creativity, encouraging experimentation, and unlocking the unique artistic voice within each student.

My teaching philosophy centers on the belief that art is not just about skill acquisition but a journey of self-discovery. I have witnessed the transformative power of art in the lives of my students, as they navigate the realms of drawing, painting, and various artistic styles. Beyond imparting techniques, I encourage a deeper connection with the creative process, fostering a space where imagination and individuality flourish.

The integration of online teaching has been a natural progression, allowing me to extend my reach and connect with art enthusiasts globally. Conducting one-hour practical sessions online has proven to be an effective medium for delivering personalized guidance, sharing insights, and facilitating interactive learning experiences.

My artistic journey is not just confined to a particular style or medium; I work in range of mediums, which includes Graphite, Charcoal, Water, Acrylic and Oil colors. Colors and detailing are essential elements to my artwork. Themes that interest me include landscapes, realistic life, character & expressions, portraits etc.

My paintings are being showcased in leading art galleries of national and international repute, some of my creative artworks are gracing the walls of many homes in India and abroad. I am proud that my works are being widely covered in leading print and electronic media, also received many prestigious awards, which includes the World Art Fair.

As I reflect on my two decades of artistic odyssey, I am grateful for the opportunity to inspire and be inspired by the limitless potential of the human imagination. Moving forward, my commitment remains unwavering – to continue nurturing the artistic spirit, fostering a love for creation, and guiding individuals on their own unique journeys of artistic self-discovery.
