I'm a Design Engineer working in a reputed MNC. I am a recent graduate from Bangalore Institute of Technology with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I can able to teach Mathematics, physics and Mechanical Engineering subjects to 'A' level. I have been told that my approach to teaching makes it enjoyable for my students. I have a wide experience of working with pupils of many different ages, in small groups or on an individual basis, who have learning difficulties. I am happy to travel up to 15km from my home and am currently available on evenings and weekends.

I approached him a week before exams with absolutely no knowledge of the subject. Being one of the toughest of paper with more derivations and problems asked previously, sir taught me the perfect strategy to ace in the exam. Mechanism of the Hell-Volhard-Zelinsky Reaction Phosphorus reacts with bromine to give phosphorus tribromide, and in the first step this converts the carboxylic acid into an acyl bromide. An acyl bromide can readily exist in the enol form, and this tautomer is rapidly brominated at the ?-carbon. The monobrominated compound is much less nucleophilic, so the reaction stops at this stage. This acyl intermediate compound can undergo bromide exchange with unreacted carboxylic acid via the anhydride, which allows the catalytic cycle to continue until the conversion is complete.
