Nissa Academy

I am the founder of Nissa Academy, an institute dedicated to teaching Mathematics and Science to students of Classes 9 and 10 across multiple curricula including CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, Karnataka State Board, AS Level, and A Level. Our academy was established with the goal of helping students develop strong conceptual foundations in these subjects while also improving their confidence and academic performance.

Before starting Nissa Academy, our team worked together at another educational institute where we gained extensive experience teaching students from different academic boards. With more than 20 years of combined teaching experience, we developed a deep understanding of student learning patterns and exam requirements. This shared experience inspired us to branch out independently and build an institute where we could focus on high-quality, concept-driven education.

At Nissa Academy, we have a team of four experienced trainers who specialize in Mathematics and Science. Most of our faculty members hold postgraduate degrees in their respective subjects, and several have more than two decades of teaching experience. Some of our trainers have also served as Heads of Department in reputed institutions, including positions as Head of the Chemistry Department and Head of the Biology Department, bringing valuable academic leadership to our academy.

Many of our trainers also hold Cambridge diplomas, which enable us to effectively teach international curricula such as IGCSE, AS Level, and A Level in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. I personally hold a Cambridge diploma as well, which allows me to design lessons that align with global standards while ensuring students maintain strong conceptual understanding and exam readiness.

Our teaching methodology focuses on conceptual clarity, structured learning, and continuous doubt resolution. Each class is carefully designed to ensure students fully understand the fundamental principles before moving on to complex problem-solving. We emphasize exam-oriented preparation while also encouraging students to think logically and develop strong analytical skills.

We conduct online classes using PPT presentations and a whiteboard to make explanations clear and interactive. Worksheets are provided regularly to reinforce concepts and give students sufficient practice. Over the years, many of our students have significantly improved their academic performance, and we consistently receive positive feedback from both students and parents for our supportive learning environment and personalized guidance.
