I have been teaching for over 34 years, guiding students from Class 9 to 12 in subjects such as English, History, Business Studies, and Political Science. Additionally, I provide specialized guidance for BA English Literature students. My journey as an educator has been shaped by a deep passion for language, literature, and social sciences, and a firm belief in making learning accessible, engaging, and meaningful for every learner.

My academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and a Master of Arts in English, complemented by a B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) degree. Over the years, I have also enriched my knowledge by completing specialization courses from CEFL and pursuing certification programs focused on effective teaching strategies. These programs have helped me incorporate innovative methods to simplify complex concepts and foster a positive learning environment for students.

What truly drives me as an educator is the ability to transform the learning experience for my students. I’ve always believed that no two learners are the same, and understanding individual learning styles is key to success. This belief has encouraged me to adapt my teaching techniques to suit the unique needs of every student I work with—whether they are preparing for board exams or pursuing advanced English literature at the undergraduate level.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of my career has been helping students overcome their initial struggles in subjects like English or History. Many of my students have come to me feeling unsure and lacking confidence, but through consistent support and interactive teaching methods, I’ve watched them grow into independent thinkers who enjoy learning. Seeing that transformation is the greatest reward of being a teacher.

My classes are highly interactive and structured around a well-planned lesson format. I make extensive use of presentations and a whiteboard to ensure clarity and engagement during sessions. I also provide well-prepared notes to aid in revision and help students develop a deeper understanding of the subject matter. These resources are tailored to enhance retention and encourage analytical thinking, which is particularly important in subjects that require interpretation and critical evaluation.

Beyond academics, I strongly believe that education should inspire curiosity and creativity. I strive to create a classroom environment—whether online or offline—that motivates students to ask questions, share ideas, and explore topics beyond the syllabus. For me, teaching is not just about imparting knowledge but about shaping minds, nurturing confidence, and preparing students for both academic and real-world success.
