.I am passionate about teaching Mathematics. I am a professional Production Manager having worked in Sugar Mills in South Africa and Mozambique .I hold a Diploma in Sugar Technology from South Africa. I have three years in house tutoring experience.
My passion is to tutor average students so that their grades will markedly improve-.thereby picking up their aggregate score which is so critical in passing,
This distinction comes from the fact that I attended a mentorship program in a conglomerate. We were taught to be respectful, taking tutor /mentor relationships as well as to propound emotional intelligence.
In addition to the responsibility of being a Production Manager - I presented published articles in The Sugar Technologists Association in South Africa 'I also tutored a student who had difficulty in passing mathematics in Grade 12.We are proud that he is now an attorney.
Mathematics may be difficult but I am prepared to make it fun and apply it to our lives as an adult. The methodology will be to prepare in advance and plan for expected questions and find the correct answers. Deliver the exercise in an easy to understand format .Stop the lesson about ten minutes before lesson is completed and then review the exercise. Ensure that homework is given to the student .
Thereafter review students work done at home at the next lesson and assist by corrections; ensuring that the student is part of the correction process also.
