Having learnt Carnatic music from great teachers like Dr Neela Ramgopal, I have a passion for inspiring and spurring the interest of my students in learning Carnatic music with the help of a fun-based curriculum.
In my five years of music teaching experience, I have gained a great deal of knowledge on how to introduce Carnatic music to a kid in a child-friendly way and how to keep the child's interest level up through fun activities and competitions. Thanks to my interactions with award-winning teachers and child psychologists, I have come up with a structured curriculum to teach Carnatic music that can inspire kids to appreciate our prestigious Carnatic music. Having been an expat and as a mother of two kids, I have come to understand that helping our kids learn Indian Classical art forms from a young age is a great gift to them - they not only gain an art but also stay in touch with our rich culture.
Now with technology helping us bridge distances and overcome barriers, I am excited to be able to teach kids from all over the world and introduce them to this great art form from India!
