Overview

I come from a large family of musicians and singers and started my musical journey at a very young age. Being a primarily self-taught musician during those formative years, I joined various bands and played in venues across the country for over ten years. I eventually decided to pursue a musical education in singing, piano and the drums alongside minoring in a few other instruments.
My passion for learning and performing soon grew into a deep fondness for teaching. I realised I enjoy learning, performing and producing music but I also love helping others discover the beauty behind musical complexity!

Jon has over eight years of vocal pedagogical research and training. He has done his vocal and musical studies from TheVoiceCollege (UK), Berklee (online), and Trinity College London. He has also studied from Yale’s online platform on the history of music and is an associate member of I.S.M.E (The International Society for Music Education). Jon has a performance history of twelve-plus years and over eight years of experience teaching singing and the piano/keyboard.
