Jiya J. - Award-Winning CHRIST Grad & AI Expert | Building Strong Class 1-5 Foundations

I’m Jiya Jaiswal, a B.Com. Finance and Investment student at CHRIST University, with a strong academic foundation in finance, accounting, economics, and business studies. My academic journey, combined with my practical industry exposure and involvement in university activities, has helped me develop a structured, analytical, and practical approach to learning.
I believe that every student has the ability to learn and improve when concepts are explained in the right way. My approach to teaching focuses on simplifying complex topics, building strong fundamentals, and helping students develop the confidence to solve problems independently rather than simply memorising answers.
Through my internships at Ramada by Wyndham and AISI, I gained practical exposure to professional work environments, strengthening my understanding of finance, business operations, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. My experience in university activities, including the Entrepreneurship Cell and Discipline Committee, has also helped me develop communication, teamwork, organisation, and leadership skills.
What makes my approach different is that I try to connect theoretical concepts with real-life examples, making subjects easier to understand and remember. I understand that every student has a different learning pace, so I believe in being patient, approachable, and adaptable to individual learning needs.

My Key Areas of Strength
Commerce and Business Studies: Understanding business concepts, management principles, and the practical world of commerce.
Accounting and Finance: Building conceptual clarity in accounting fundamentals, financial concepts, and investment-related topics.
Economics: Explaining economic principles through simple examples and practical applications.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Breaking down difficult questions into smaller, manageable steps.
Personalised Learning: Adapting explanations to suit each student’s understanding, pace, and academic goals.
Exam Preparation: Helping students revise important concepts, practise questions, and approach examinations with greater confidence.
As a tutor, my goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn from them. I want my students not only to perform better academically but also to develop genuine curiosity and confidence in their abilities.

If you are looking for a patient, approachable, and dedicated tutor who values conceptual understanding over rote learning, I would love to be a part of your learning journey.
