Let us assume that present age of P and Q be 5x and 7x respectively.
P's age after 6 year will be (5x + 6) years.
According to question:-
7x-(5x+6)=2
7x-5x-6=2
2x-6=2
2x=2+6=8
2x=8
x=8/2=4
Present age of P is 5x=5 X 4=20 years.
Present age of Q is 7x=7 x4=28 years.
Therefore Present age of P and Q are 20 years and 28 years respectively. Answer
