The love for teaching started when I was in Bansal Classes, Kota. I used to spend most of my chemistry studying time teaching maths to colleagues.
It was Functions and Relations, AP/GP, trigonometry, Solving the most difficult questions of trigonometric inequalities using graphs, the list goes on!
Then in 2011 I moved to VIT Vellore, where I with a bunch of friends, started an NGO called Helphen India. As part of our regular activities, I handpicked a team that used to spread mathematics and computer science to the most remote schools around Vellore.
I have always believed that teaching is more about understanding your student than the subject. One can be a prodigy in a subject, but to teach he always needs to start from the bottom with every student.
Last but not the least, a teacher might be teaching a topic for the hundredth time, but the student is learning for the first time, and a good teacher must always remember that!
PS: My favorite number is 3.14. It makes me wonder!!!
